Continental Fuel injection questions

Postby fragwhacker » Mon Dec 11, 2017 5:37 pm

This is on a io-470-vo 260 hp motor. There is a line coming out of the fuel delivery system that is labeled "return vent line" I have to assume it returns to the fuel tank in the plane. Do I need to cap it , or leave it to vent, or return it to the tank on the boat?

Also this question is due to fitting an airbox on it. The air intake on this motor is in front of the accessory case and the box mounts to the top. Is it possible to turn the air intake (fuel system is also attached) upside down? Basically would it effect anything going from a downdraft to a updraft. Hope that makes sense. Just trying to make the box he has clear everything.

PUT THE RETURN TO THE FUEL TANK AND YOU CAN PUT THE INTAKE UP OR DOWN
