GSO540 RPM?

Postby 12PSI » Wed May 16, 2018 8:08 am

What are y'all turning your GSO's at? I have a 78" 6 blade excaliber set at 20 degrees which is about max, I can touch 4,000 RPM. Top end is very fresh by a reputable builder so I know it's right. Is this too high?

You shouldnt be turning any more than 3600 rpm's..you need to add some pitch..

I had this conversation with a person who had ran several GSO540's and he said the sweet spot he always found was between 3550 and 3600 rpm
