Joey an Jay the arch rivals across the canal don't have much quit in them and neither do I. So it's the perfect rivalry like Kallitta and Muldowney. I will be Connie and you all can be Shirley. I will say in a perverted way I hope you win so all the A/C guy's go crazy and really trash talk. I have a final goal and in the end I plan on achieving it and nothing is more motivating then a embarrassing and brutal loss. Either way who ever wins won because they earned it. You guy's and I both know races are won months before they actually happen. Good luck it's gonna be a battle. See you all next TNT the Battle of A/C vs DD car motor.

I know Dave has that thing thumpin, but like I always say I am from the show me state lol. How can he hold more nos with no gear box ? Also just getting my jabs in while I can with Jimmy, I talked to Dave and the only people he wants to run are the ones the bet is with. He did say he would come get the rest of us later with some more mods. I dont think I could stomach a dd cm outrunning a ac, I pray Joey and Jay can beat him but Dave did a hell of a job. Time will tell.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but curiosity got me and I got bored after two pages. Was waterthunder able to develop a thrust bearing to run a DD LS?

I had been wondering the same thing. I thought I saw a post back on FB a while ago where WT said they had a meeting with a big name manufacturing company and they were going to work on a solution that’s been in the works for a couple years. I don’t think he mentioned specifically the thrust bearing, etc. but it sure seemed that is what was being implied.
