I just went with using ml, 400 of part A, 100 B catalyst, then 150 of the mapoxy thinner. Sprayed pretty good, not to thin not to thick, no high spots, was going start the black tonight do I don’t have to scotch it but eyes are tired. Gonna have to make a booth out of shade canopy between the torrential rains and the overspray in my garage I’m just aggravated today, just wanna finish to go airboating, and my ocean boat is sitting waiting to go for dolphins.

On the cups the 4:1:10%:1 basically forget the extra 10% reduced and fill to next line for the last part correct?
I don't quite understand the question?? You do want to thin the 4:1 mix out a bit for spraying, 10% seems about right. They always sell me brushing thinner for spray application, but it works.

As for the graduations on the cups, they confused the hell out of me too, but I can't remember what I decided  Post a pic of the cup scale if you can't figure it out.
Cage done! Awlgrip for hull sides and rudders next. Thanks for tour help and info!

Bamas,

Glad it worked out for you. Did the finish come out like you wanted? Too bad you didn't have this weeks weather for the perfect painting conditions. :banghead:
I still think I-10 is the Mason Dixon line.
2013 Mike Stossel Boats, 13' x 7' deck over, IO-540, 74" NGQ less winglets.

I painted the cage in that heat, it worked good! Finish on cage is nicer than seat structure but boats are good, seems durable and good coating. It’s bolted down now, gotta paint the hull and rudders next!
