That is going to work just fine for some serious off roading.

Looks great guys. It got up to 16 degrees here today with the last week pretty much below zero. Just like t-shirt weather now.

We start dreaming of summer if you give us more than 2 days in a row that’s below freezing.

UPDATE ON THE GM SENSOR WITH THE AUTOMETER GAUGE. Under real operating conditions the GM sensor / Autometer gauge combo read
about 40 degrees hotter than actual. I soldered in a 47 ohm resistor into the sensor circuit and now from 195 to 210 it reads spot on. Going ride tomorrow to see if I can blow another head gasket!

I did not know how much I liked the Florida Governor. I saw a few news clips of him handling some news reporters. It was entertaining. Hope he is actually going a good job for you guys......regardless I like what he says.

It’s not Wednesday or Friday but a cool pic none the less. We shot these two very late in the day there probably wasn’t 5 feet between them. It was a bit sporty🙂

Ran dry ground for 5 hours straight......pine trees dry. No water.

Clover was the stickiest. Took about 4000 rpm to push thru that stuff

Yep that is a hinged rake. We'll see if it works like I want it to. Might need a heavy duty home made hinge.

I was wondering if you were gonna put a grass rake on that hot rod. What’s the hinge for? So you can load up a 4 wheeler?

I have been thinking of a hinged grass rake too, but setting it up to hinge up not down to work as a safety rail for gator and fish gigging off the nose.
I still think I-10 is the Mason Dixon line.

Hinge down so i can winch my wheel chair up in this bitch when the time comes :toothy7: . Hinging up will require a lot more work if you are going to keep it ridgid and still able to handle a typical slow speed impact..........but if you only hinge a front secion of the rake that may not bee too bad. I'm going to add a removal cushion on the rake for when its laying flat for my spoiled rotten froggers to lay on in comfort. The main reason I don't run a rake is becuase you cant frog off of the front (hand grabbing). If this works well it will eliminate that problem. And I like making stuff....especially something a little different.

Most of the welding is done. still a few more small pieces to weld on and finish weld a few section.
