If I repeat myself just ignore it. My ARP head studs came in the other day so I'll be putting my spare motor back together. When thats done I'll be headed back to the tuner to make use of this little engineering marvel.

It still amazes me you can make 300 + HP with a 122 CI 4 clyinder. But I think I'm even more amazed that you can add about 50 HP to that for less than $100. Plus the cost of tuning. I believe this is the correct ethenol sensor for my ECU and I think I have the pinout for the signal back to the ECU. I'll post up that info after we confirm it works.

Thank you Florida John for sending me the GM part number on a very nice 5 grove pully to make my idler to replace the AC compressor. I was able to mock it all up on one of my very expensive $600 spare motors. I'm digging it. It will make me modify my belt guard but I can get rid of the coonass engineered alternator tensioner situation.

My ARP head studs arrived a while back. It was raining all weekend here so I put my motor back together (the one I popped the head gasket on last year). Motor is not too complicated. It was a bitch and I needed about 3 more hands to keep all the timing marks lined up while tightening it all back up. That was the only part I was not excited about and it ended up being easier than I expected. I don't think it would have been possible for one person to do it without the extra hands. I made my little harness for the ethanol sensor and the bracket to hold it. It will take about 3 hours or so to pull the AN fuel lines and modify them to fit and add the pin to the ECU connector, the ground and keyed 12v. I'll probably do that over the next month or so.

And you shouldn't have to make a tool this big to torque down the balancer. Stupid amount of torque GM ask for.

Made a little river ride on the upper Amite yesterday. Planning to go ride in Vidor Tx area next weekend, should be a good time.
