Re: carburetor
are you sure it is an E85?.....C85 engine has a ma3 carb....never seen an E 85 all the e series engines were 165, 185 and 225...according to my papers the ps5c carb is on the E 185 ENGINE which is a 470 cont I do not know if parts or rebuild kits are even available for the old stromburg carbs....so any MA4-5 carb with a 10-???? for a 470 cont will be what ya need.... I have several rebuilt carbs for that engine if your interested in going with the 4-5 carb
Re: carburetor
sorry e185, so it will bolt on no problem and what is your asking price

Re: carburetor
yes sir it will bolt right up and run your engine just fine, probably better than the old stromburg.....all my MA-4-5 carbs are completely rebuilt using FAA/PMA approved parts, bench tested and include new mounting gaskets and shipping $600....I have one left now it is a 10-3965-12 OEM on the 0-470 engine

Re: carburetor
those carbs are not to my knowledge used much in the airboat world.....however they are popular sell items on e-bay for collectors and home builders and guys who restore old engines and planes .....shipping is included in the price on all my carbs ....... but if ya come pick it up I knock $15 off the selling price

Greg did mine last month, It looks better than new and works great. Only took 5 days door to door.
Re: carburetor
Greg did some mags for my pops boat a year or so ago. He did a fantastic job and they are still running terrific. Turn around was less than a week.

GMAC 76 is there some place we can be more secure
Re: carburetor
This board has a built in PM (private message) attribute that works very similar to email.
Click on GMAC 76 in one of his posts and that will bring up his Profile.
Look at the bottom left and click on Private Message.
You can figure it out pretty easy from that point.
Be aware that it will look like is sitting in your OUTBOX folder, until he opens it.
At that point it will move to your SENT folder. This is how you know that he's received it.
Really easy to do, you just need to know where to look/start.
