Sleepy Hollow joins Turner Camp

Postby Deano » Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:18 am

on the list airboat accessible venues that burned down.

Just saw the tail end of this on the news, haven't found anymore on line yet.
I hope (against the odds) that they don't end up like Turner's, and find themselves beyond building code challenged to make a comeback. This really bites.

Getting to be slim pickins in these parts.

That sucks. Really hate to see the heritage and history of the everglades shrinking

It's really sad that one person's criminal act can cause so much grief. Sleepy Hollow was an awesome gathering point for all... airboats, pontoons, motorcycles and tourist. The community's cleanup efforts on Saturday and Sunday were amazing. Kudo's to ALL that came together !.

For those who maybe don't know some of the details the bar was "open for business" with an estimated 20 persons inside when an arsonist set the place on fire with them inside. Evidently there had been a prior incident there in which an individual had shouted threats.

Serious shizt right there my friends!

Dammit man they lit the place up in the people are inside,..I don't know if that's big balls or just stupid they got to catch that dude... Well I love this place it's one of the first places I went when I started airboat in years ago camo Ken crashin' the drone... That place is full of a lot of Good times by a lot of people.. damn good people too.... We have rides for people who have left us.... Time to organize a charitable ride and get that place running again....
