I did so many crazy thing on this motor. Like changing the chamber to a quench milling the head and piston to make a quench pad. Man I spent 6 months building that combo. Then I realized the number one down fall of an A/C motor and I couldn't do nothing about it!
You can only make soo much HP with an air cooled motor. The more power you make the more heat a motor generates! After running across a lake I shut the motor off and I heard this bacon frying sound what it was my oil boiling inside the oil pan. I even ran it on 118 N2O race fuel but it still ran hot. I didn't want to run alcohol anyway if that thing would have been water cooled it would have been a beast. I sold it and started building my first car motor boat and never looked back!
