Me and a hand full of boats are heading out to ride 2a for a day ride saturday we are coming from the Naples area I was just wondering what would be the best ramp to use this will be are first time riding that area we usually ride 3a but with it closed we all have the itch to get the boats out and 2a seems to be the only place to ride right now. Thanks for all the info

You really have 2 choices, either Sawgrass Recreation or the Stub canal. Both are off 27 just north of 75.

My dad's probably taking my boat out there on Saturday from Sawgrass Recreational Park's ramp but if you got a lot of friends going you'll have to launch and then park the truck and trailer around back to use that ramp. I recently took my boat out from the stub canal ramp a few miles north of Sawgrass and had no problems leaving my truck there, then again an FWC truck was parked there the whole time I was out.

10/4 I appreciate it guys I drive a superduty and kinda worried about leaving it there but I guess will find out thanks again

Lyle runs a tour business 50yards from lox ramp. I dont want to say its prime but i worry about the buzzards more than vandals

Only draw back is that Lox will be 30 min longer for you each way. I think I will be home on Sat. You are welcome here at Old Glory. :thumbleft:

That's what I heard the buzzards are pretty bad down there... Newoldglory if we find are way around out there we will be more then happy to stop by and introduced are self I heard alot of good things about your place really like to see it
