Model 662 slick mag

I’m getting ready to replace the plug wires on my 0470R and it has dual slick mags which happens to be the 662 model mags. I did manage to pull one plug wires out of the mag and it has a small spring that is pushed into the end of the wire. Any input on how to do this the right way would be greatly appreciated

Probably perfect then. Just make sure its copper core vs. kevlar/carbon/graphite. Mags don't make the kind of voltages electronic ignition does.
Slidin I did notice that the ends have electrical tape on them when I pulled the spring off along with the insulator I assume that is to help hold the ferrel/grommet in place in the mag

I know nothing about Slick Mags. I recommend replacing with electronic for long term reliability. But that's a different thread and different recommendation,

Mags make up to 25,000 V peak, electronic is 60-80 kV.

Post pics, but just make sure you got copper wire core connected to the wire spring.
