Looking for an Airboat Ride in South Florida – Family of 5
Hey everyone,
It’s been quite a while since I’ve been on here! I used to be a member of Southern Airboat years ago with the original name of Matapatos. Life got busy and had other plans so I haven’t been active on the forum for quite some time. I still get out a few times a year on family and friends airboats in norhern UT. I miss it!
My family and I are going to be in South Florida in early December, and I thought I’d reach out here. We’re a family of five, myself, wife and 3 boys ages 11, 14 and 15 and would love the opportunity to get out on an airboat with someone local and experience the area the way you really should, from an airboat!
Rather than booking one of the typical commercial tourist rides, I figured I’d check here and see if anyone would be willing to take us out for a few hours and show us around their part of South Florida. We love the outdoors, wildlife, hunting, fishing, and just being out exploring, so we’d enjoy seeing the real Florida and whatever you think is worth seeing.
We'd absolutely be happy to help cover fuel and expenses and work around whatever day/time is convenient for you.
If anyone might be interested, shoot me a message. It would be great to meet some fellow Airboat folks and get back out on the water!
