Forward; Tonight Vickie's vision was checked in a preliminary test by ophthalmologist. She was able to see! She was pointing to numbers and holding up fingers to represent numbers! Huge! She was also very responsive indicating yes or no with her head and giving a couple thumbs ups! God is good!!!!!
 
Thanks Bob! That's great news ..... that little lady has been a bedrock for a lot of us oldtimers on SA for quite a few years now,
and it's real good to hear she's doin' good. Prayers sent from me, Ms. Vickie!

I sure hope everyone can help this gal out even if you dont know Vickie, she has done a lot for all the airboaters. This time now she would be getting ready to gather donations for Operation Airboat this weekend. Your small donation towards her medical recovery would go a long ways. Here is the latest update for Vickie. I did not see her. This is from Mary Ann Schneider. She sat with Vickie. I am just passing along this latest news. Vickie still has a long way to go.

I hung out with my girl last night for a few hours to give her son a chance to go home and have a real shower and a little break. She is making wonderful progress slowly.
I'll share a little story from last night between me and her... She has an alias. I told her the name they gave her is an actress that's a sexy bitch. She wrote "why name her a sexy bitch name?" I told her "because your a sexy bitch!" she gave a little snort & grin and gave me the thumbs up. Even after all she has been through, she still has that sense of humor I know and love. Much love to you my kindred spirit sista
 
She is getting better and starting to talk a little. She can start having visitors in the next week or so depending on her rate of recovery. I will let you guys know exactly when people can start going. -Cruz Crew

She has made it to the Rehab Center, she is doing amazing!! Stronger everyday I cant wait for her to see all the posts!
