I tried the search thing for 2 days straight really havnt found a answer..I'm fixing to put steelflex 9x and steelflex 2000 super slick I have always rolled it on every boat I had all of them where aluminum sleds. I'm looking to change it up and wondering if anyone has sprayed it on if so what spray gun do I need to get Or should I just stick with rolling it on? Thanks for your input :florida:

I used a $19 drywall hopper from Harbor Freight to spray my Quick Slick, it worked perfect! It left the perfect textured finish I was looking for. Once done, I threw it away.

I've done both types of application over the past 30 years, rolling the correct amount to the square footage of a hull is the best application during full direct sunlight, giving time for hull to warm in AM, applying at sun in position at 11:00 and allowing full cure through the progression of the day, the bottom is shiny as a buffed paint job. Would share pics of last one but can't upload pics from phone.
P.S. all old paint shall be stripped to bare aluminum for best results with at least 36 grit sander, and masking should be pulled as soon as runs stop.
