Heat shroud

I need a heat shroud for a Franklin 0-335, I keep dropping valve seats. From what I’ve read this should help pull more air through the cylinders. Anyone near Polk county FL who can make me one?

A shroud will certainly help, but finding someone to make a custom unit for that engine might be more of a custom fab shop.

Are you monitoring cylinder head temp now?

Just about every Franklin I've seen and had one ran a cooling shroud, we also ran Marvel mystery oil as a top oil in the 100LL fuel.

Are these engines commonly used on airboats? Saw an ad with a franklin engine. Any pros or cons with this setup? Thanks, Brent
