thinking about doing a 0470 conversion to my dual mag 220 and want to know besides cylinders, intake and carburetor, what has to be changed? Where/who would be a place to get it done at? About how much will it cost?
thanks

As long as the cylinders are loaded with rockers and shafts, the pushrods can be used but will need to be trimmed to set valve lash.
Find a set of 648013 8.6:1 pistons from an o470u, you won't be disappointed.

I can do it. I havent bought those cylinders in about a year so I would feel uncomfortable throwing out an estimate without making some calls. Im in canaveral groves. Call if you have any questions. 3214031560 Bobby.

According to this 470 service bulletin no brain fart.

it was in the late 80's early 90's P/N 648013 was replaced due to the piston skirt it was causing cylinder failures with leakage. Replacement P/N 648045 had the skirt contoured to reduce cylinder stress. 648013 was to be scrapped per FAA
