90W Cube Mounting

I ordered a 90W cube from Kenny on Friday and wanted to know where you guys have been mounting them?

My rigging is tall so I thought about under my feet on the front of the stand, or mounting it on the rake.

Does anyone have them installed on a quick disconnect mount so they can be stored when not in use?

I tried mounting mine on my foot stand but they lit up the bow to much even though they are the spots. I ended up building a rake and mounting them on the front of it. They are pretty heavy so make sure your mount is solid. They are bright as hell.

Have 2 spots on front of rake,2floods on cage, & 2 floods on bottom of rake. Ones on bottom of rake are to low, would be better at bottom of seats height. But as bright as anything I have seen.









15/8 Alumitech 418WT, 2.67/1 belt.

Will get power to the cube before I mount it, move it around and see where it works the best!

Kenny can these lights take a good whack mounted on the rake??

Yessir. They're tough and can take a beating. I have them on my cage and they catch hell. I wouldn't mount them where they can take the brunt of a collision or anything. They aren't bumpers or battle rams. :lol:.

LED units get pretty hot. I can't imagine sitting next to one. But maybe these are different.

Ohhhh....gotcha. Yeah, these get pretty hot too. That's the reason for the large heatsink. Not hot enough to burn you but I see where your coming from. Any heat source on those hot summer nights are unwelcome.
