Well, unfortunately, I made the camera rig from various components. Its not something a person can buy amd use like a gopro camera.
So, its a rather complicated answer.
The off the shelf 360 cameras like 360fly, theta S, etc, all have different but crippling limitations on authoring 360 content. Most notably, they all have very short capture durations.
This rig captures 4k 360 video for any length of time you want. 8 hours of footage is around 50 GB.
Once you have the footage it takes about 4 minutes per 1 minute of video to convert it into a format that other people with standard computers and mobile devices can view.
Overall, the technology is not even remotely ready for general consumer use.
Give it another year or two and it will.
If you have super deep pockets you can buy gear that works great. Its just many thousands of $.
