If they take away my 2nd amendment right, then it won't be long
until they take away your 1st amendment right, think about it!
Without a 2nd amendment, who will defend your 1st?


Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009
1040 federal
Tax form all guns that you have or own. It may require
fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.
This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24. This bill will
become public
Knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law. This is an
amendment to
The Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the
Finance
Committee can pass this without the Senate voting on it
at all.

Maybe the anti-gun people want us gun owners to hound our senators for no reason, to discredit us in the senator's eyes.

I'm not writing anything on this one!
 
This SB 2099 has been around a while now. It was posted here, I may have even posted it some months back. To date I have found nothing on it in any of the records of Congress. I have got it several times in E-mail as well, but I have never seen any of the watchdog or grass roots organizations even mention it.

Whats the reference for it being a hoax? I may start listening to THAT source instead of my old ones.

We sent out something in the grassroots alert about this about 2 or 3 weeks ago. There is no such bill in this congress.
