Charles, would it help if our brothers in Texas piled on, like we helped them?
I hope his thread is the longest in SA history, with replies of people saying they sent an e-mail.
We gotta stop this b.s.

Ruagatr said:ANY airboater who does not email the link below, put Florida Headwaters in the subject line and comment on how unnecessary the Headwaters project is, and tell them OPTION ONE (NO REFUGE) is what you want and if there is ANY Headwaters refuge, how FWC MUST be the managing agency for recreational use of ANY such project, DOESNT DESERVE TO OWN AN AIRBOAT.
GET off your asses and do it RIGHT NOW! Charles :angry5: If your name isn't on the list you should be ashamed.

You can write to him and seek his help on this issue.
The way the system works, that request should get transferred to FWC for their assistance in making a response.
Here are his email address:
this is a non-governmental one:
Rick Scott <[email protected]>
THis issue has been wrapped in the blanket of "save the Everglades" so most folks' first reaction is YES! and they don't
look deeply into what that means...not saying that's true with the Gov. but we need to make sure everyone knows the
feds want to purchase pieces of property which will connect a large number of refuges together....they have enough
already....
They also are trying to get ranchers, farmers to give them easements which DO NOT NECESSARILY come with hunting/recreation
rights for the general public! That is why we want FWC as the lead if they go ahead
You also can go to http://www.myflorida.com, click on Governor and follow their directions to contact him that way.
ALSO Contact the Lt. Governor and John Costellano, the lobbyist.
Finally,
Contact Marco Rubio, Bill Nelson -- senators
and your congressman.
and send this notification to everyone on your email list -- regardless of whether they are an airboater or not.
THANKS!
