Carrying a pistol through multiple states...??

Well I read up on some of the links lastnight and Tn states that the gun must be unloaded and securely encased (i.e. lock box, glovebox, case, etc.) and the ammo has to be stored away from the gun and out of personal reach. Kinda seems pointless to bring it now :violent1: I've been wanting to get my cc permit awhile now. Anybody know how much it costs minus the class? I believe there's an application fee, processing fee and the cost of finger prints and passport photo.. Whats the easiest/cheapest way..?

You need to go to the Sheriff's office for the App. and instructions. I had one from Ky when I moved here and it was easier for me because of the FBI background check. I think it will cost less than 200$.
 
Getting the permit is painless, and if you are a veteran or have attended a hunters safety course you don't have to go to a class, here in Miami you only go to I think the dept of ag building in Doral and pay I think$140 and they finger print you and take the pic there and send you the permit
