In Memory of Danny Brantley: Guardian of the Kissimmee Marsh
The Kissimmee River Valley Sportsman's Association mourns the loss of our brother and longtime champion, Danny Brantley.
For Danny, the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes was home. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he lived by the core creed of true conversation: that those who cherish the land have the greatest duty to protect it. Danny stood on the front lines to defend public water access, restore native wetlands, and ensure Florida's hunting and airboating traditions survived for future generations.
Every sunrise across Lake Kissimmee carries his legacy. Danny will be remembered for his steadfast grit, campfire camaraderie, and unyielding love for wild Florida.
Our deepest condolences go out to Danny's wife, Jennifer, and his entire family during this difficult time. They are in our thoughts and prayers.
Fair winds across the marsh, Danny. You will be dearly missed
