More to it than we’re told

And so it is ... years ago lead was mined in southern and western Wisconsin, some by Indians. And in southern Wisconsin lead was mined and made into shot for shotgun shells.
So I’m sure we have lead in our soils in which we grow fruits and vegetables plus corn, soybeans and wheat.
We as humans prepare items grown and use them for food as well as feed poultry and animals for milk and meat. We are definitely controlled as to what we use as fertilizer and growth chemicals that we feed to our cattle and poultry.
Now we are also concerned about second-hand smoke from gas engines, such as ATVs, snowmobiles, lawn equipment, trimmers, water craft (airboats) , airplanes and construction equipment. All of these pollutants eventually end up in our soil, where our vegetables grow, plus in animal food, grasses, corn, soybeans.
Plus we are now shipping fruits and vegetables from South America, Mexico and Central America. What do they use to produce these products? Are they governed by our standards? And do they use the same growth chemicals we use? Most of these products are produced by American companies in foreign countries.
If you’re still doubtful as to what you breathe in, how about when you’re stopped in traffic? You have your blower on for heat or air conditioning and your vehicle is sucking in fumes from other vehicles around you.
Are you still worried about second-hand smoke from smoking products? I’m sure lung problems are caused by more than cigarette second-hand smoke, or lead off of furniture and toys.
