Fatal Crash Polk County, Florida

That makes me sick to hear of the loss of life, If those ranchers are going to be running fences out into the water way they should be required to mark them with orange ribbon or something were people can see the wire, that is a serious hazard, I had a close call like that several years ago where a company running a sand dredge on the river ran a cable all the way across the river about 3 ft off the water, at the last minute I saw it thank God the grass rake directed it under the boat instead of over it, I reported it to DNR and the ranger was furious they wrote them several tickets and told them if it ever happens again they were going to jail, I am very sorry that a young woman lost her life and others were injured
 
I agree, when water conditions rise its no problem to send a guy out and flag the wire. Maybe KRVSA can put this on the laundry list or whatever clubs area it was in.
 
So unfortunate a way to loose a life. God bless all affected by this tragedy.
If common sense were in better demand these days, this type of thing would be less frequent. I was almost decapitated once, due to a mechanical failure of a steering component.... it can happen anywhere, anytime.
