Financing used airboat/value

I'm looking into financing an airboat but having some difficulty with the bank and trying to determine the value of the boat. Anyone have any suggestions or expierience in the past with this?

It's tuff to get a loan on a Airboat. Alumitech, hamant or Diamondback are all able to provide loan values to your bank. If it's a glass boat or homemade it's damn near impossible!

Try getting an appraisal and giving that to your bank when you apply.

And I should be able to get a appraisal done at a dealer like diamond back or floral city airboats?

What brand is the hull?

Where are you located? My bank would do a loan on a airboat but did give me a cash loan for the boat

A certified "marine surveyor" is what the big banks will request but you can try local shops too.
