Determine what you are looking for in a boat and your budget. Then decide is your going to build one or purchase a used boat.
Most airboats are not able to be financed so having the $ in hand is needed.
Generally speaking some credit unions or banks do finance airboats but in my experience only vessels titled with a manufacturer MIC hull number. An example of this would be AlumiTec, DiamondBack or GTO.
If it says FLZ or home made the banks 99% of the time say no.
It’s best to get a mentor when getting into airboats. Someone with years of experience to guide you. If you can’t do that read all you can on here and talk to every Airboater you can find.
