Inflatable PFD's Question

LOL well I suppose you need a different one for the summer time ... I don't wear my jacket much in the summer myself ...

Actually, "I'll have my bacon crispy, please", that's the true answer. Risk increases greatly with long pants and boots. Few can even tread water in those, much less swim. I love the jacket in fall and winter and wear the suspenders other times. An added advantage is the flotation padding adds significant rib abd chest protection should a Kissimmee hog / frog catch the boat and flip an operator out. Not that I would ever have an opportunity to test that feature ..................
 
I generally have my mustang on ... and encourage my passengers to do the same ... LOL damn bacon is tough to get the way ya want it .. even when ya payin for it ...
 
Who is going to pull the manual inflate when you are unconscious ? Personally I like the auto inflate Mustangs, they cost more but it is my life I am depending on.

I've heard up here a very high percentage of boat fatalities here are male , drown , way over the legal blood limit for alcohol and are found with their zipper down and the boat stopped . Too many beers and you have to stop and pee sooner or later . :salute:
 
Ok .. so nobody wear a PFD ever when you go out boating keep them in the front hatch area all the time .. oh yeah one more thing .. please put me in your will so I get the boat in case of accidental drowning .. although it really isn't an accident because you shoulda known better ... just wear the damn things .. just a year or so ago we had a guy drown on Kissimmee with his little dog ... no pfd being worn ...

and yepper plenty of men drown while taking a leak .. I was asked how did I know this ?? because while drowning you really probably don't think about zipping up your pants ...
 
Well fellas I bought thema nd I will be wearing them. I have been tossed out of the boat before, luckily it was shallow and muddy so i wasnt hurt. Might not be so lucky next time.
