Just a heads up on some recent site work.
For starters, you've probably already seen the security verification screen below (mainly when browsing the gallery). That check is cutting down on wasted bandwidth by stopping AI training scrapers, aggressive search crawlers, and bad bots from hammering the server. Turning that on has already dropped the guest/visitor count under our online stats by several hundred. There's no way to catch them all, but it gets a bunch of them.
Also, all Google ads (and their background tracking scripts) have been completely removed. A classifieds user reached out recently confused about why the site was asking him to pay for something that is supposed to be free. It took me a while to track it down, but it appeared to be a deceptive Google ad so that's the end of them.
Got some more updates planned in the near future, so if you notice something looking a little different or temporarily out of whack, it just means I'm back here pushing buttons lol.
