There was some good races. But I must say its disappointing to watch people constantly drive out across the path of what you guys call a race track. I spent over 20 years drag racing and to watch everyone drive across the track is really insane. There were step hull boats running really fast and the wrong wake and it could be bad. I suggest you serious racers take a stand and get this problem fixed. People need to realize how dangerous this sport of racing is. I can tell you I would never even think of racing in such an atmosphere. Those of you not racing should never ever cross the track!!!! And after the race is over both boats should exit the racing area. If you decide to race again be patient wait your turn and don't race back up there causing more wake's. Sorry to sound like a safety freak but this needs to be addressed. There were some really nice and fast boats there and I hate to see someone get hurt. JMO

Steve, I just want to say I agree 100% with you and the racers safety is very important and more spectators need to be more respectful of this. I showed up late to the race and I saw Bruce and another boat racing so I stayed back to NOT create a wake for them or get in the path in the direction they were headed. I went the opposite way of them and came swung wide to come in behind the starting line. Bruce had turned around and back at the starting line and he was next to me before I knew it.

i agree with yall 100 percent and i think im to blame for ours mjd i ease back kinda quick because when my boats on step it throws very little wake to cross the track but that being said somehow i didnt see you for whatever reason but i did when it mattered and luckily was already slowin down when i came up on ya

I agree with ya Bruce and I am not sure who's fault it was and it was never an issue. We both saw each other and it was fine, but I just don't want to be accused of being wreckless with guys racing. Watching Ricky Bobby being thrown out at halfway because of careless spectators wake who can't sit still while the racing is going on is bullshiat.

im with ya there

I'm glad you guys agree. I enjoy watching the races but it needs to be safer. Spectators need to be more respectful stay out of the way and be cognitive of your boats wake.

I can tell you that is why you didnt see the BAD HABIT boat out there is that every time some one went out there they were racing 3 wide and driving across the track.

3 wide hell that is fun!!! Agree on the track crossing there was quite a bit of that. Them crown lites got everyone wound up maybe everyone should race early in the day before the crowd gets filling RIGHT!
