new to airboats help plz

put it on their :D do u have rigging motorstand for it ?????? got a prop ?????
ecectect where are u located ?
 
here a list of what i bought went building and ruff cost to give u a idea
motor mounts 200.oo
headers 200.00
flex and mufflers 250.00
nuts and bolts misc.100.00
motor stand rig and cage material 500.00 1" motor stand 3/4 rig with 1/2 braces and 3/4 cage with 1/2 and wire
seat shells and covers 500.00
bilage pump flag and life vest paddle 150.00
paint 100.00
seat stand floor material diamond plate i paid 100.00
gauges with panel 250.00 for a good set and the box with toggels ect
gas tank 150.00 used
prop and adapter anywhere from a wood prop to a carbon 400-1500 bucks
rudders 150-250
now a day its almost cheaper to buy a running boat but when u build it u no what u have ..........hope that helps i can help u with parts ect let me no if u need something i have alot of stuff at the shop if not im sure i can find it ......for ya

Im having trouble finding a prop adapter for my gm 3.8 every1 i call has 1 for a 3in bolt pattern mine is a 2 1/2 bolt pattern thats my obstical right now...
 
My comment on that other 6 cyl. post relates to the fact that building the most common boat is going to be the most inexpensive. Direct drive SBC. You can probably buy a complete good running truck for $150.00, Prop adapters and headers as well as props are so common and lots of people end up eventually going from Direct drive to reduction so all the direct drive stuff gets sold over and over again. If you have to get most of the stuff new or start having things fabbed for an obscure application... Well I'm all for different however just thinking you want the most fun for the dollar.
