Nomad Says Goodbye

Today is a sad day and a great day. My camera which has taken so many pictures of my airboating family is being retired. I have taken 40437 pictures with this camera. In fact here is the last one. My wife bought me for Christmas a new and greatly improved one. I have moved up from 8 mg.pix. to 18 mg pix. So I wanted to let everybody know that I have started fresh and will be taking as many or more pictures then in the past. So don't do anything you don't want published on the internet. I will get that shot. :lol: hehehe. :lol: Hope everyboby had as great a Christmas as I did. See you on the lake. Have camera will travel :lol:

Yep, dang, 18 mg pixs, a good gift, 18 will bring out the ugly quite well, some of us look better with a soft focus.

Yep Nikons in the lower level cameras I have found to be much better quality and they are by far much easier to navagat thew the menues and to opperate but both canon and Nikon take great pictures

Hell with a 18 MP camera - Watch Out - Nomad will be taking pics that show the pubic hairs on a nats azz at 100 yds or better....
Think there should be a 10 day waiting period on stuff like that......

All I can say is my Canon DSLR has been through hell and back. I have not taken very good care of it. It lived with me in Iraq for 2 years, went through sand storms, rain in the jungles in Thailand, dropped more than it should have been, gotten wetter than it should have and keeps on ticking.

I should state every camera I've owned up to the canon were point and shoot Nikons. I don't have anything against them, I like them. Just when doing research for DSLR's in my price range I though the canon was the better deal. IMO Canon or Nikon entry level DSLR..... you can't go wrong with either. I was just sharing how my Canon has been through some battles and is still going strong.
