I have seen several engines with custom made oil pans: Who makes/supplies them?

What about using the oil pan off a O-470 aircraft engine in place of the GPU's heavy-azzed sump?

That will work as long as you use the rest of the engine...LOL

I have custom oil pans in stock take's off 15 pounds of weight.
i can send pictures if needed. they are gpu oil pans. cost $ 300.00 outright/175.00 on exchange.

a 470 aircraft case is different like speed already said and the oil pan will not work. you can make a custom complete oil pan or just the bottom half the oil pan, I have also taken a e series oil pan and used it with a e-series accessory cover or modified the pan for a stock Gpu cover . I guess mine must have been heavier when I weighed one it was 26 pounds for the bottom section alone

friend of mine has an oil pan on his 220 that westside made.very nice.used the top of the stock one and built a new bottom.doesn't leak.i'm told if you don't use the stock flange its a bugger to keep'm from leaking.
