Polymer ?

I have a 10x7 aluminum deck over It had poly on it before but before I got the boat the guy took it off and put a slick bottom on it and covered the holes with some kind of silicone it worked great cause i never had any water in the hull but now I have the boat apart to redo the bottom and with me sanding it down to put steel flex on it..I'm just curious if I should go ahead and redo all the holes since I'm already this far if so what do you all use to cover them up thanks!!

if its a good deckover hull it is probably 7075 aluminum I'd personally put rivets in to seal the holes if your sure you want slick bottom  if its a 6061 aluminum hull I'd weld them up

have heard others say to just tape the holes then apply slick bottom :dontknow:

Gold has it dead on, they also make some soft an rivets for putting in windows and stuff so they buck with just a hammer and bucking bar you can get them at ECAS or other places as well, may be hard to get them if they shoot 6 or bigger though good luck

Here is the link the big one get long but you can cut them easy enough
