I ain't really crazy about the artificial intelligence thing, but I will say it has helped cleanup this old website of 20+ years.

First thing: Old videos that were uploaded to this site years ago are working again. AI produced code to "re-encode" them to modern standards that today's browsers need.

Second thing: AI produced code to search & destroy about 12+ gig of duplicate image files left over from when the gallery was powered by a different program, while leaving 6,000+ image files that are needed.

Third thing: All those older threads, posts, and photo titles & comments that contained garbage like "%Â%" (or similar) have been restored to their original state.

If anyone finds anything mentioned above that's still messed up, let me know what & where. Me and my new buddy AI will look for a fix :).

Funny you mentioned the third thing above. I have copied a ton of data on different subjects from the website and had to fix quite a bit of this: contained garbage like "%Â%" (or similar) :) For some reason a lot of WatherThunder's posts threw that crap!!

Waterthunder used a lot of punctuation marks. That's where most of the garbage came from when the database updated the character code.
 
For all of us on the internet, SA is probably the least of our concerns :(.

In this particular case, AI created the sql and ssh syntax for commands that I ran manually.

Constantly a day late and dollar short but I'm still hanging. I cannot imagine the cost of SA to constantly repeat things over and over and over every few years of the same questions and same problems!
I wish ai would attempt to solve environmental, I'm about done in that industry of idiots that breed worse idiots!
