Redfish Reports

Oh that spot. It's right next to that other spot. Gonna try to fish tomorrow afternoon if the wind lays down some.
 
I have been wanting to fish but have had to many family obligations & now my pop is in the hospital.

Ya'll catch a few for me, I should be back to it in a few weeks.
 
Ended up having a great day! Had our 6 Redfish limit plus a couple of 18" trout by 10:30 and by 11:15 had caught and released another 10 keeper reds and got 3 more 18" or better trout, one trout being 20 1/2". Bulk of the fish was caught just inside a creek and some 1/4 mile or so in. All were caught on the falling tide. Caught everything today on live shrimp mostly under a popping cork and a few on bottom.
Hope to go again Thursday so we'll see what happens.

Beautiful weather today.....caught a pile of reds and trout.....not any giant ones but made for a much better day than last weekend
Can't believe the one day between howling would be so nice!!!!!
Water is getting really clear, a couple more cold fronts should really do the trick!!!!

Wish I could have found those size reds
 
We limited on both trout and reds. All ours were caught way back in a creek. Fished low to high. Really got on the trout. Best I've ever done that far in a creek. Beautiful day. Wish the wind was from the east but not complaining. Your right the water is clear. Gonna gig one night soon. The only thing we didn't catch was a snook. Had reds, trout, flounder, and sheepshead. Not nearly as good as in November but I'll take it. Hey Gator, just coming off the same deal with my dad. Hope to get him back home in the next couple of weeks. Wishing the best for yours.

Another good day in Cedar Key, caught fish all day from about 9am until 2:30 . Limited out on Reds, got 2 nice Sheepshead and 6 Trout including a 21" and a 23" Hog! Water is clear, could see fish swimming all over the place including the mouths of creeks. Had our best luck up the creeks though. We used live shrimp, cut mullet and gulps.

Those are some nice trout GC. We caught trout way back in the marsh and a few days later nothing same as you Hoyt. I'll post up with how we do at the end of the week
 
We did good sat.

Early you could see the fish put what ever you in front them and the would not bite. They turn on about 10:00 caught a bunch of mid slot fish 21-24" one 29.5" red.

After over 10 yrs of airboating I experience the achilles heal of a cm boat. Cut across compass point, end up with a marsh hen in the boat stopped and got it out of the cage unhurt. Asked my buddy if we were good got the thumbs up hit the gas and his glasses went through the prop. No prop damage great off we went. Not so fast at the second stop motor started to get hot. Small pin hole in the radiator. Pinched it of and keep the cap off, used fuel line and garbage bag coming out of the over flow tank into the net bucket. Loaded the bucket with Ice put hot engine water over it to melt. when temp was about right we pour it into the tank. Had to watch gauge we could go about a mile or so then have to slow down for the water to recycle.

Had not caught a fish yet. We bounced around a few creeks get back out to the gulf still caught some nice fish, found a few new spots.

What a day.
