Running pump gas

in my opinion the old rule of thumb is you get what you pay for......av gas is more $ but it pays in the long run.....trust me been there done that..
 
This is like beating a dead horse. A wore out or low compresion motor you might get away with it but why take that very expensive chance? I dont put gas in my deisel truck and I damn sure wouldnt put 93 in my ac motor!!! jmo
 
mine starts up fine and runs well on 93 pump gas. most of the time it contains ethenol as well. i just put 4oz marvel mystery oil to 10 gal gas and hammer down.

gpu was hard to start yesterday in the swamp, but i was breaking ice with it so i figured it was because i have no choke. throttle cable real sluggish too because of the cold.

I'm going to kick this horse alittle, Your asking about 2 different critters here.

Ground Power Unit low compression motor, I'd say run that 93 pump gas through it.

AC motor, I'd say run that Avgas through it.

Try either, your motor will let you know what it like's the best, And whatever it like's the best that's what I'd run. But I'm willing to say it like that Avgas a lot better, it's even look's prettier.
