Successfully ran boat for first time today. It aint the fastest or the prettiest, but it might be one of the heaviest for its size.
13 1/2 x 7 1/2, 351W direct drive, 70" NGH, rod boxes, and many layers of fiberglass. Real pleased with the little motor and prop. Planes out nice and is a pretty smooth ride. Runs up to 2900 with prop set just shy of 2 mark. I had plenty of help, and I sincerely thank David and PeeWee Chastain, Ty and Donnie from GTO, Dan the Airboat Man, and Scrambletown (for the rebuildable old Ford block). I leraned a bunch from reading forum topics on here and couldnt have completed my first build without the help of SA. Thanks to all who have ever taken the time and answered a call for help on here.
