chuckitt@earthlink.net

Silent Prop
R. I. P.
This is the new MiniMini. It is 10 ft long and 5 ft 6 inches wide. The stringers are 28
inches center to center. I haven't weighted it yet but I estimate about 150 lbs.
What do you think? Cost is $ 1495.00 Thanks, Chuck

Thanks Papee. I have too much trouble posting pic's. I just haven't learned. It's easy
on your site. I have more pic's, but I have to get some sleep. Will try to get them
posted tomorrow. Thanks, Chuck

Hey Chuck , how deep are the sides and transom? Are they as deep as the other 11' hull? Thanx bud, Cajun

Mmmm, maybe Baby Rivermaster ...... and they were great running hulls. I like the lines of this little hull a lot. Good eye, Crakr0470.

Bet with a little 90hp. Continental or O290 Lycoming that would be a spoinky little boat!

What a nice looking little hull...we tend to want bigger, better, faster, but sooner or later the desire comes back for the original personal water craft. 8)

Chuckitt: Have you checked into shipping cost & requirements?
Honestly, a good selling point for those of us that are too far away to just drop buy and pick one up might just go for a hull if we knew that it could be shi[[ed for $XXX.xx
As an example lots of Gunsafe mfgrs. will "drop ship" a gun safe for ~$139.95
FedEx, UPS, and DHL have "Freight" divisions and a rep. could help with guidelines and costs.

Thanks Thunder. FP1201, I am trying to work on shipping. There are many options.
Regular shipping means crating. Maby dealing with company's that own their own
trucks and are not fully loaded. I shipped a rigg to New Mexico once for $50.00,
the driver was going by there and had extra room. I just have to look for the deals.
Thanks, Chuck

Crateing can be the tricky part. up on its side, bagged in plastic or some other protectant, then framed in a cage of sorts....maby stop by a tractor or heavy truck/equipment dealer and look at how parts arrive, again the freight company agents will usually help you out. When asked about the size, tell 'em it's just a bit longer than a Queen sized matteress & box spring.

While I don't need one now, had this mini hull presented itself a year ago AND it could be shipped up here for <$200. I would have bought one! If another engine comes along, we might have to work something out.

Thanks FP1201, We have these large pallets we get polymer on that we could cut
down to make crates. We are 5 miles from big truck stops. I know we can get them
shipped.
A few months ago, we introduced the 11 ft hull and in 10 weeks, we sold 12. A lot
of post stated they were too big and we needed a 9 or 10 ft hull, some even said
they would buy one if they were smaller. Well the smaller ones are available.
David, can you go to the gallery and upload the other views of the 10 ft hull.
Thanks, Chuck

Back in the 70's my Dad bought a new "AirCat" hull from Hurricane that was about the same size. I could push it areound in the yard with my brother and another kid inside. At the time I was ~12. Dad used the truck and a tractor tube in the bed to bring it home....seems like he put an O-290 on it, whatever it was it was bad-assed.
