Need advice on which truck the Toyota trundra 4 door with the 5.7 L engine or the Dodge with the 5.7 L Diesel 4 door 2500 dor pulling an 8X16 with grass rank down he Highway?

Toyota might just have built one heck of an airboat motor with that one too. In another thread I seem to remember Thunder saying
that the Toyota V8's have the same bolt pattern at the bell housing as a Chevy.

Box stock, with a 2:86 gearbox that thing would probably run forever. 8)

YOU GUY'S SHOULD HAVE YOUR CITZENSHIPS PULLED !!!! AND I DONT WANT TO HEAR THEY BUILD THEM IN AMERICA NOW , IT'S THE PURE PRICNIBLE ALONE. YOU GUY'S MUST NOT OF GROWN UP WITH 2 GRANDFATHERS THAT WERE IN WWII LIKE I DID........ :( :( :(

TOYOTA OVER A CHEVY FORD OR DODGE.......YOU GUY'S MUST OF BEEN HUFFIN AVGAS FUME'S WHEN YOU CAME UP WITH THAT ONE !!! :)

WORSE YOU PROBLY OWN CARMOTOR BOATS DONT YOU

MORTIZ GET THE DAMN DODGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Chevy V/8 will kick the Toyota's A$$ everywhere just like we did in the Big one! G.M. is building the best V/8's right now. As for the bell housing I meant the Nascar Toyota block bolts up to the Chevy trany. However I don't know about their production stuff!

you'll got me feeling guilty :? I pull with a tundra but i own and race a lot of chevy stuff. mybe i can get a work visa after i get kicked out?LOL

It must be a car motor boat thing cause yall guys are ass backwards, airboats are suppose to have aircraft motors and pull them with American made vehicles not put car motors on boats and pull them with them with a truck made buy some slant eyed rice eater.

Dan, don't feel too bad. No one you know is more of a 'buy American' advocate than me, but when I bought my last GMC (I'm on my third one) I had to look all over hell to find one that had been assembled here.
I finally found one that was built in Ft. Wayne, IN and bought it.

Most Chevy, GMC, and Dodge trucks are assembled in Mexico, but the engine for every Tundra is made in Georgetown, Ky, and every Tundra built is assembled in Princeton, IN, about two hours away.

Brewster makes a good point, but the American manufacturers are deserting us, not the other way around.
