Tree stand thief in Brevard county

After much debate with friends I am posting these pictures of 2 men trying to steal my tree stand in the vicinity of the Oak Head. They need to be seen for what they are. :angry5:

Must have been the same guys that got mine, where the trail comes out and turns left by the old Duda line. One Lean Too and a Climber a little ways to the left on the line. I have been hunting that area for years, its a shame you can't leave your stuff out. Every once in awhile non hunting season I would sit there just for fresh air and to look around.
Keep and eye out on Craigslist and pawn shops. Its one thing to sit in a guys stand if you know him and he says go ahead but to steal a guys stand, Bad Carma........
 
Stupid as F**K if they didn't see the camera that took those pictures. Jeez. I sure hope someone recognizes them. Hell, report it to FWC and see where that takes you. Who knows?

no. i never reset when i changed the batteries. :violent1: however i put out several more cams yesterday and set the time and date on all!!!

Guy on Facebook yesterday tried to tell me they are St. Johns land managers. I asked why they wasn't in uniform & he said they don't have to wear them.

Why doesn't he have bolt cutters? I mean, if I was the "land manager" and the job I was getting paid to do today is remove tree stands, I would bring bolt cutters... and a grinder, and a port-a-torch...etc.

Or is "land manager" more of a self appointed title?
 
Was your stand erected in a lawful place during a allowed time ?

At Suwannee you have to have your name on it with your hunting license number and if it is placed to early or not removed at the end of the season the land managers remove them and their LE staff are looking to cite you.

They don't play !
 
Though it has been a few years I would always carry in my climber and carry it back out. I would only leave it overnight if I walked out at sunset and knew that I was going to be back before daylight the next morning.

Sounds to me like the "guy on Facebook" either was, or knew who were the ones responsible. :idea:
I agree with Mojoe's observation a thousand percent. It would take very little planning to avoid standing with his hands on hips looking at it and trying to figure out what to do. :lol: :lol:

With all the fancy terms the snowflakes have to have for job titles anymore (no garbage men or ditch diggers), it almost sounds like 'land manager' is a crooked snowflake's fancy replacement term for a thieving low-life of the sort pictured. I would be inclined to not believe the "guy on Facebook" for a New York second.
