The die is set, thanks for all the input from all my buddies, Waterthunder, GTO, Panther & especially Bobby. I going with the MAST LS 7 427 Cubic Inch Supercharged 750hp/800 ft lb torque Hurricane motor coupled to a belt drive swinging R blades. The specs are bad a$$, dyno sheet is crazy 800 lbs at 3600 rpm with 560 hp. It is not on the website yet but check out MAST goodies. It was a hard choice but time is wasting :violent1: :violent1: Bobby has work to do.The engine has been tested for the past year some may have seen it on the American boat at Nebraska races. MAST is ready to get it out and Bobby did his magic and hooked me up with it. Comes complete ready to drop in alt, fuel pump etc. If you want to know how much it cost call Bobby 8)

No BS between me & Thunder he helped me make my choice so haters pick another fight he will be keeping my old motor running sweet for Brad.

So this thing should rock, the detail Bobby has come up with and cool ideas are just too sweet, you just have to wait to Broward to see some of them 8) Look out BBC you are done

That is one sweet build you have going! Definitely no way your typical big block will perfrom with that engine. What made you go with a belt drive?

Congrats!

Thanks T, Couple things of the belt drive made me go that way,
The gearbox makes so much noise at a idle when I am gator hunting or flats fishing sounds like 2 skeltons *ucking at a idle
This engine will have some torque roll so I can seat on the left and engine will torque right.
The the push you get from the LS really drives the nose down so the extra weight of belt no real big deal
I learned to drive airboats with aircraft engine so it is burned in my brain when in trouble pull back on the stick and floor it well thats has been kind of exicting a couple time when I did that right into the torque roll  too old to change my brain
The belt is simple and used in motor cycles, helciopters just keep the tension right and most of the time all is good.
Bobby has got this new hull design and it works for him really good. I watched these boats run dry with less hsp then mine and just as big a load with ease so I going give a try
Last Plum Crazy likes them :D :D

Wayne you will be very happy with your choice. Just so everyone knows Wayne asked me to build him a supercharged motor and he was hoping we would cost around Classic or MAST but I told him honestly at this time I can't compete with their blower motor prices. I know Wayne would be happy with either choice and I gave him reasons to buy both and gave him all the tec info I could to help him make the best choice for him. I think Bobby got him a great price and Wayne choose the MAST which Im sure he will be very happy with. Wayne I will say your gonna be shocked You can't even compare our 550HP and 600HP normally aspirated motor to my wifes blower motor her motor is just plain sico and I keep it dialed down boost wise because it's a fricken animal!

 Now that's funny!!!

Look forward to seeing it.

Wayne....looking forward to see what you and Bobby come up with on your new build. The Diamondback crew do some nice work at showtime. That MAST LS7 Supercharged engine was very impressive on that American Airboat I saw up in Nebraska. I think you will be happy with that powerplant. Tell Bobby...Don't forget the kitchen sink on your new boat. We'll have the rear view mirror!

Man, that jig is impressive .... there's no way a hull can come off that thing and not be perfectly true all the way through. It's amazing how much wider an 8' hull looks. Who would think that a 6" difference can be seen by the naked eye like that.
