I guess i dont know the law. I always thought carrying and consuming were against the law.at least in fl.
there is a very good book out of the do's and don'ts on where and when guns should be carried i found it at a gun show and it was authored by a ex cop now concealed instructor his number is 407-650-0770 it's the best $25.00 you'll spend. it taught me a few things i didn't know.

Allright, back to racing. Does anyone know what payouts were. was unlimited any diff than last race?
don't know what the payouts were. Don't know how they choose who races who in the first round and then who races who in the second round and so on looked to me like some boats had to race a lot more than others., and I believe itshould be that every boaqt runs an equal number of passes each round and each boat drops out when they have two losses. It didn't appear to work that way.. Don't know how they determine if you redlight a lot of people were red lighted because their boat slid forwardan inch or two between being staged and the green light.but we were told they would give us a turn around at the first race if your boat moved, iguess that changed since the first race?Haven't seen any real set of rules but that is a lot to communicate to everyone by mouth and be sure everyone gets everything. I definatley think that everyboat should draw numbers to dtermine who they race in the first round it is ironic that of of the 6 or 7 promod boats 5 of the seven were of one make and the 2 that weren't were put on the ramp against each other right off the bat and the person running the show built the other five boats one way to go ahead and give one of them a loss right off the bat maybe not planned that way but sure does smell funny. If all of these kind of issues are not resolved and written out in a set of rules for the racers I will not waste my thousand dollars to come back in the future. I don't want sanctioned racing to die so I hope things are going to be changing. If they don't we will be having more test and tune races.

seemed a lil funny to me too i dont think any hull manufacturer orosmeone with a boat in the race should be runnin the show because it def does seem biased imo

With Chuck Hawk running the lights(yea I'll say his f'n name) you have to have a Chuck Hawk to get a fare shot....So with that being said I will personally make a mold off one off his that he has already worked the bottom on..For those of you that don't like to deal with or caint afford his sh!t because he thinks the world revolves around him,I will make some REALLY good deals on them. Before anyone starts saying how chicken sh!t it is to do that,I feel the same way.But for starters that's how he's got what he does,he copied another boat. But that not being the reason I'm making a mold, the reason is that if he wants to be that much of a chicken sh!t to cheat then I will to. The name of my new step will be "CHICKEN HAWKS"......and for the record Marsh Masters has absolutely nothing to do with this. He wants nothing to do with stooping to that level. Unlike Chuck and soon to be myself,,,,his step mold started out a pile of plywood,,,,not another mans hard work......CHICKEN HAWKS,,,coming to a track in front of YOU!!!!!

Man this is what I hate about airboat racing. Just shake the guy's hand go home and make your stuff faster. I knew we had dam well better be two boats faster then the president of NARA at the time or we would never win. It sounds like your neck and neck so just put in a little more work and you will win without having to split hairs. I will say I know how much work Gary and Chuck have done on the bottoms of their boats and I have owned a few that were misses. They have tried more bottoms in a two years then most people have in a life time. To just boldly copy it to try and hurt their business is wrong. Now I'm sure my bashing will start but wrong is wrong. Now me personally I would close the shop doors and make my stuff faster and win the next race with your own stuff. Good luck I would love to see some good competition instead of copying.

Seems to me there are always things that can be improved upon for every race I've ever been to. Good job Hammer of just asking the questions.

Now I remember that previous to the last two races we were still d*cking around on the lakeside, unsafe, and never sure who won or lost. we finally get some organization and no one is happy. I can see not wanting to waste hard earned money and not feeling like you got a fair shake, but I'd like to ask that the NARA gets a chance to get really going before we just chop them down. I'm sure if they had the money they'd have a guy in every pit box with headsets telling everybody what's what. But what i actually saw was brad and all his daughters trying to run the show with the help of chuck and his sons. Call it what you will but it looks like a beginning to me not a blatant attempt to cheat.

But all that being said, bubba needed a win. Ain't that right bubba?

if the driver would admitt to his mistake(even if a wake did slide him forward after he had staged) we wouldn't be having this dispute. for those of u that don't know chuck is my dad and if anyone knows him like i do he is not one to cheat and if i recall right he was not running the lights. and yes when he first started messing around with steps they were the biggest pile of junks u could ever buy but after many attemps to get them were they are now and with the help of gary i would say it is a job well done. just something to think about before someone does something stupid.

Dave,,I feel and have always felt the same way. And closing the shop doors is what we have always done. But its impossible to even get a fair shot when we run then later get called a red light. You can be 10 boat lengths faster but when D'qd and not even get to pull on the ramps it doesn't matter. As far as good competition that's where we're at now. But as much as we like it,he thinks that competition is gonna hurt his business I guess? To be honest,it doesn't matter what boat we bring as long as you have any boat builder running the lights its gonna be a conflict of interest.jmo...
The part that pisses me off the most that I've not even mentioned is that as soon as Bo flew my boat at the July 2nd race. All he kept saying that day is how jimmy will go and crushh that mold now because he bought killed his brother.Completely driving it in the ground about that boat flying and hurt his own brother. The fact of the matter of that boat flying is all on Bo and myself. We ran that boat a lot with no problems. The sat before that race we were begged to tighten it up or it will fly,by Jimmy and others. So for Chuck to run his mouth about that kinda sh!t is wrong. His steps have hurt (and in some cases worse) more people by fying than any 10 other boats manf. ever. Is that his fault? NO!!!! The fault is in set up and driver. To hold his personnel feelings about Jimmy against everyone in one of Jimmy's hulls because thay are exactly what YOU and everyone wants to see,,,,COMPETITION,,,is Chicken Sh!t......

This will make ya feel good. We out ran Lou and his son legally without a doubt in Orlando but they waited till the crowd left and at the end of the night when they handed out trophies they announced we were disqualified for passing the fuel testing station. Think about this we never shut off the boat and we never left the sight of the fuel tester the driver turned around (1st race he ever ran) didn't know better and was tested of coarse he tested legal. But after we beat Hawthorn two times in a row and never lost a single round we were disqualified. They didn't even have enough class to tell us they just waited till the very end. That day I walked away with a smile on my face and said I'm gonna beat him in unlimited and I did both times we have raced. So without a doubt we got a major shaft I just laughed went home and built an unlimited boat and beat them at their game. To this day that is the dirtiest trick I have seen pulled and I have been around racing my whole life. So use it as motivation. I no longer have any interest in the airboat racing sport but I do enjoy building engines to compete.

Just so its not misunderstood,,,I'm not bashing the NARA at all. Other than the LIL'BS,,we had a great time! Brad Hendry handled the whole thing great,,,,,,it seemed to me that he completely agreed with some of what happened. We'll be back just in COGNITO!!!

Waterthunder I agree that pulling a mold off of another mans boat is wrong! I personally know how much hard work goes into building a plug as does jimmy white. In the sixties my daddy built one of the best running ride boat hulls around at the time and it wasn't long before boats were showing up all over. The state of florida that he didn't build. Even for someone to change your boat a little and pull a mold and put their name on it is wrong imo. I don't think b white would do that I believe he may be poking at someone but I guess it could happen very easily. unfourtunatly a lot of people think that's how you build your own boat you just pull it off of someone elses, I say that because I told several people I was building my own boat and there first question was , what are you pulling it off of.

Don't feel bad. Chuck has f$$ked me on one of my hauls and go's around telling everyone that my haul is a piece of sh$t and he build it. It keeps falling apart. The funny thing is that he tells me that its fine after someone just got done telling me he was talking sh$t. By the way vero had two boats fly within one year and they where chuck hawks.

Stop the complaining it aint ever gonna be perfect. You can please some of the people some of the time but you cant never please all the people all the time.If it werent for Brad and Chuck there would be no racing at all.
