Maybe we can put the aircraft promod in with the carmotor raceboat class since that is essentially what we are bragging about. And we probably couldn't even win that.

AGAIN I LOVE AIRCRAFT MOTORS THAT'S WHAT I WAS RAISED ON BUT I JUST DON'T THINK THEY CAN COMPETE IN UNLIMITED. I THINK EVERYONE KNOWS IT. INCLUDING THE REEPER CAMP. IF I BEAT THE GROUND RATTLER WITH AN AIRCRAFT BOAT, OR ANY BOAT FOR THAT MATTER, I WOULD HOLD MY HEAD HIGH TOO, AND MILK IT FOR ALL IT'S WORTH. BUT WE ALL KNOW BETTER, DON'T WE?

Guys - It was a Run What Ya Brung win. No classes, no ramp, no light; just boat against boat and each owner chose his weapon.
Many wish there were a central location with all the stuff - we could know light time, speed and et - until that happens, it's just country boys having fun. The wind will blow and the BS will flow. GR showed and raced -- there are lots of cacklin' keyboard champions who didn't. Nothing but respect for GR & TF - no doubt they'll come back hard -- and they will know you don't mess with the Reaper. Good for them and good for Todd. There might be other boats that will want some Reaper. Rest assured, there will be a fresh set of Densos stayin in the tool box, too. There's $$$$.$$ being spent in more than one place. We'll all see.

I dont care if GR was runnin good or bad, Todd beat him on that day :salute: I would think there is only a handfull of people that have ever done that and the ones that have better enjoy it while they can. We all understand the GR is the baddest boat out there when its right, but he lost and the excuses stay at the railroad tracks. Lets take a poll, how many AC boats ever outrun the GR as long it has been together?????? Great job to the Reeper crew, enjoy it while u can and never race the GR again :lol:

I have been going to airboat races since the early 80's and I think off all the races I have only seen the ground rattler loose once at felda to an aircraft and once at rutland both times were to Hoffman And now once to the weaper But that's a dam good record for anybody but i did see the ground rattler loose twice to water thunder at lake george and 4 times off of 70 at the okeechobee races so i think water hunder has beat the rattler more times then all of the aircraft victories put togehther but it is nice to see some old a/c motors making the rattler burn up his motor and loose
