Redfish Reports

Excellent! Did you catch those fish in your winter spots or outside points,its gettin close
 
Nice reds. There are Plenty of schools of overslots roaming around on outside now, and lots of slots with a few overslots on grass islands just outside creek mouths
 
Nice. It rained on us off and on so didn't get to move much. Fished very small area but the water was finally clearing up after all the rain and run off outta the swamp
 
Ready for a break from the hurricane, we're going to the coast for 5 days the first negative tide will give report!
 
Well so much for the trip, Nate put a stop to that. We went last weekend the fishing was poor, warm water and it is really dirty,hoping for some cool weather. Tight lines
 
Yes friday fishing was slow. it was windy and water was dirty.

Sat we had a blast caught 6 snook about 18-22 and quite a few nice reds. we were only out for a few hours but caught the tide a little higher.
 
Nice looks like the fishing is just getting better.
Can't wait headed out tomorrow myself.
Did you fish out of the waccassasa or out of yankeetown?
 
Fished yankeetown area all week and all last week. First big cold blew water out and a few fish pushed in. South had smaller reds and plenty of snook. The redfishing had been way off since the hurricane south. North pushed in lots of nice trout, flounder and more reds. Seemed the bigger tides mid week pushed in a better crop off redfish. Lots of warm weather forecasted for next week but some great low tides.
 
We fished Sat and Sun up north. Went up close to cedar key and found very clear water. Did very well couple of small snook, one 21" flounder, a bunch of trout from very small to 20" and a good number of mid slot reds 20-25".

Sun we went north and a buddy went south we caught fish hard til 10:30 then it slowed down, buddy started catching hard just after 10:00 til about 12:30.

A lot of boats and sat with a nasty low tide. Got myself stuck bad in some black mud, had to recruit some help to get out, but we caught several fish while we were waiting for help.
 
We stayed on the Coast 3rd to the 6th. Neg tides got our limits easy everyday. Fishing is starting to get good, water is finally cooling off and clearing up. No big Trout yet!!
 
FISHED YANKEETOWN EVERY DAY THIS WEEK. SUPER LOW TIDES LEAD TO SOME PRETTY EASY FISHING. CAUGHT FISH AT PRETTY MUCH EVERY STOP THAT WE MADE ALL WEEK BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH OF RIVER. CAUGHT PLENTY OF SNOOK WITH SEVERAL KEEPER SIZED. LOTS OF MID SLOT REDS WITH A FEW UPPER SLOTS. ALL THE BIG TROUT YOU WANT ON THE BARS JUST OUT FRONT, SOME NICE SHEEPSHEAD AND DRUM IN THE HOLES WITH PLENTY OF SMALL REDS AND SNOOK. SUPER FUN WEEK WITH PERFECT WEATHER. LOOKING FORWARD TO A BIT COOLER WEATHER COMING UP.
