Well I got the itch again and Bobby & team Diamondback going to create Dixie Thunder 3, I cannot say enough about Norm, Keith & all my buddies at GTO but boats are like a good women never hurts to try a different brand hhehehe
Plus going to try and keep the old thunder in the family, so someone go to the classified's and buy Brad's boat 8)
14 X 8 riveted and yes for welded haters another welded bottom :violent1: Bobby has lots of great ideas and I have loved the black diamond boat since FFA show. Just got to cut that sucker down a little bit 8) . Bones will be doing his magic on the art work and powerplant will be LS, just not sure which one, man some many choices, hook it up to 4 blade R, so time to get r done.
Motor update 1-12-2011
The die is set, thanks for all the input from all my buddies, Waterthunder, GTO, Panther & especially Bobby. I going with the MAST LS 7 427 Cubic Inch Supercharged 750hp/800 ft lb torque Hurricane motor coupled to a belt drive swinging R blades. The specs are bad a$$, dyno sheet is crazy 800 lbs at 3600 rpm with 560 hp. It is not on the website yet but check out MAST goodies. It was a hard choice but time is wasting Bobby has work to do.
The engine has been tested for the past year some may have seen it on the American boat at Nebraska races. MAST is ready to get it out and Bobby did his magic and hooked me up with it. Comes complete ready to drop in alt, fuel pump etc. If you want to know how much it cost call Bobby
No BS between me & Thunder he helped me make my choice so haters pick another fight he will be keeping my old motor running sweet for Brad.
So this thing should rock, the detail Bobby has come up with and cool ideas are just too sweet, you just have to wait to Broward to see some of them Look out BBC you are done
